Overland Park Teen Offers Hope to Haiti 

    Two years ago, Anna Lipscomb had an amazing opportunity to join her parents on a missions trip to Haiti through the Global Orphan Project, a Christian nonprofit based in Kansas City. Anna was overwhelmed after seeing the vast majority of children living in poverty and fighting hunger. When she returned to Kansas City, she purposed to make a difference. She, along with the help of family and friends, created a music CD of seven songs with a featured song titled “Heart for Haiti.” The CD was released in November and 100 percent of the proceeds go to helping children in Haiti.
