I'm Not Cool

I've always suspected, but recently got confirmation that my 'cool factor' is pretty low. I made this discovery the other day at my daughters' school. Tori (my older) was walking out of church with her class and I said "hi". I didn't get much of a reply so I walked over and gave her a hug (which she quickly ducked out of) and gave me a dismissive wave. Huh? What's up with that? Actually, I remember feeling the exact same way with my mom. I know it's normal and just a phase, but I think it is official that I have dropped several rungs down the cool ladder. Guess my singing and dancing in the car, wearing my pj's to run errands and giving the cashier a 'talking to' isn't going to help make me cooler in Tori's eyes anytime soon.
