Random Thoughts

    I was reading a magazine earlier this week (couldn't tell you which one, I read a lot of magazines) and in it was a section of "new and favorite" things. It was basically a random collection of things the author liked at the moment. So, due to the "blog block" from which I am suffering, below, in no particular order, find a few things I like right now...

Whopper Robbin Eggs-Man, it's a good thing they don't offer these all year or I'd have a serious whopper problem to contend with.

My Kindle-It was a surprise birthday gift from my mom and I am really enjoying it! Prior to receiving I had mixed feelings on e-readers. I love books and bookstores and don't want to see them go by the wayside. What I have found is that I am reading books on the Kindle that I wouldn't have otherwise read. I like to look through the cheap and free books and have read several that I wouldn't have found in the bookstore or library. And, I am still purchasing books as well, so it's all good.

FREE coffee-I like free anything, but my ears perk up when I hear about free coffee. In honor of Earth Day, bring in a reusable coffee mug into Starbucks today (April 22, 2011) and they will fill it with coffee for FREE!

Spell Check-It makes me laugh. I just did spell check on what I had written so far and it suggested "stirrups" for Starbucks. One year when I was teacher I had a student named Devin and every time I did a spell check it brought up "Devil" for "Devin". I had such a fear that her parents were going to receive a grade card and all the comments would be about "Devil." I know, I am easily amused.
