Six Little Words

A few weeks ago there was something in the paper about writing your life’s story in only six words. For some reason, it really intrigued me. I like a good challenge and I wondered if I could really sum things up in just six words that would give an accurate portrayal of my time spent here. At first I though of listing the roles that I have and hats that I wear (mom, sister, daughter, wife, friend, etc), but quickly realized there were many more than six. So then for a while I was really stuck. How do I write an autobiography in so few words (and I happen to be a gregarious person, so being brief does not come easily). I pondered it while in the shower, in bed when I couldn’t sleep and on long car rides. And, I think I’ve done it, and so now, without further ado, the life of Margaret Sarver in six words (drum roll, please)…

Loved God, Loved others, Lucky lady

And, in case you were wondering is my close second, Loved by God, loved by others. I have spent way too much time debating whether it was better to love or be loved but in the end I decided that if I am giving love, I am hopefully receiving it in return. If this gets you thinking, share your six word autobiography with me-I’d love to read them!
