He was NEVER in Time Out

Is your family celebrating Easter? For us, the season of Passover and Easter is one of the most special times of year. It's a time to remember what EVERY day is all about.

This weekend, my four year old lined up all her dolls in her room and started "reading" her Bible to them (she does this often)... she asked them, "Do you want to hear about the BEST miracle? Let me tell you." Then she said, "Jesus NEVER disobeyed God. He was NEVER in time out. He never did anything bad like sneaking cookies or taking his sister's toy. Can you imagine? We should try to be perfect too, but it's really really hard. That's why Jesus died on the cross and came back to life in 3 days, so we could go to heaven even if we're in Time Out sometimes."

We love spring decorations and Easter Egg Hunts, Chocolate Bunnies and new spring dresses... but through it all we're celebrating because the One who was without sin paid the price for us that we may someday live eternally with Him in heaven. Now if that's not the BEST miracle... I don't know what is!
