Journey to Bethlehem
Experience the story of Christ’s birth in a Journey to Bethlehem at Southminster Presbyterian Church in Prairie Village. Join fellow travelers following the star through seven scenes in a dramatic walk-through that shares the story of the birth of Jesus. Tours start approximately every 20 minutes. While you wait for your tour to begin, enjoy music and storytelling in our sanctuary. This event is FREE to attend, it is our gift to the community.
Dia de los Muertos Celebration
The Kansas City Museum’s 12th Annual Día de los Muertos celebration will explore the history and cultural traditions of Mexico and will be presented in partnership with the Mattie Rhodes Art Center, Crossroads Hotel, Stone Lion Puppet Theatre, Mi Mercado Fresh Market, and La Mega KC radio. All proceeds directly support education and public programming at the Kansas City Museum.
