Ages: 2-5, Join us for weekly sessions of stories, activities, and information about animals and their
habitats. Each week, a new topic will be presented, and outdoor activities are planned, so be sure to
come prepared. Parents are required to attend with their preschoolers and are encouraged to participate.
Registration for the entire session is required in advance, and the program takes place every Thursday.
June Bug Ball
Celebrate pollinators and all things buggy at the June Bug Ball! Come dressed as your favorite insect and explore the wild and wonderful world of bugs, pollinators and garden friends through crafts, live entertainment and hands-on fun. It’s an exciting day of discovery, nature and celebration, included with Farmstead admission!
Music and Movement
Come to either one of our upscale Play cafe Locations for a class presented by Stepping Stones KC. Kids and Adults can enjoy this class while exploring and learning about music and movement.

Homeschool Play: Urban Air Lenexa
Homeschool Play is a chance for homeschool families to come in, get active, and play during the day. Cost is $15.99 per child. Memberships are not valid for this event and Urban Air socks are required.
2023 Schedule:
- Homeschool Play is every first Friday from 1pm-3pm at the Overland Park Urban Air. *September event moved to September 8th*
- Every second Thursday from 1pm-3pm at the Lenexa Urban Air. *March event moved to March 7th*
Chill and Churn
Kids (8+) create their own ice cream using both the baggie method and a traditional churner and take home their homemade treat!
St. Matthew Preschool Open House
Take a tour, visit with our teachers, see our classrooms, and enroll for the 2025-2026 school year. Open Houses are on August 7 from 1-2 pm and August 8 from 10 am-12 pm.
