A Kansas City Christmas
Kickstart your holiday season with “A Kansas City Christmas” at Lenexa Baptist Church on Dec 6-7! This event features performances by our Worship Choir and Orchestra, and it’s free to attend. Performances are Dec. 6 at 1 & 5 pm and Dec. 7 at 5 pm.
Preschool: Little Critter’s Day Out
Children must be fully potty trained to participate in this program and able to handle restroom needs independently.
Your Little Critter will enjoy three hours of fun and education as you enjoy some personal time! Activities will vary but we will have an adventure, eat a snack, make a craft, play games, and see an animal visitor each day. Dress for the weather. Children must be fully potty trained. Registration for the full semester opened on July 28. Any remaining spots open to single-day registration on Aug. 25.

Penguin March at the Zoo
Don’t miss the Penguin March outside of Helzberg Penguin Plaza every Saturday and Sunday at 11 am, December through February.
This event is included in Zoo general admission and Friends of the Zoo memberships.
Zoo VolunTEEN Open House
Are you a teenager interested in volunteering at the Zoo? If you’re passionate about animals and helping others, consider joining the VolunTEEN program!
Visit the Zoo Learning Center between 1-3 pm for an open house on Sunday, December 21st, or Saturday, January 17th.
