It’s no secret that I love summer. I love all aspects (and I’ll take the heat over the cold, snow and ice any day of the week and twice on Sunday) but one of my most favorite things to do is spend the long summer evenings at home, playing games, enjoying ice cream and just hanging out. For this summer we got some new games to play out in the yard. They are the perfect way to enjoy each other’s company while participating in a little friendly competition (and believe me, Ty loves competition. Even mini golf turns into a competitive sport when he’s involved).
The games are from a company called Zume and what I love best is that they work perfectly for all age groups. Not too hard for Ally who is 7, and also enjoyable for me who is, well, let’s just say, not 7. The other great thing is that they are portable, so can be easily taken to the park or to a block party. And, they are easy to pack up and set up. So easy that Tori and Ally can take of care of putting them up and taking them down without any help from me or Ty.
The three games we have are:
CANZ™
Score the most points by getting your target inside the goal. It sounds easier than it actually is! Perfect your throw-does overhand or underhand work best for you and have fun competing to see who gets the most CANZ in the basket. The set comes complete with six air funnel tossers, one target goal with ground stakes and a carrying case for easy portability.
TENNIZ™
The fun of tennis but easier for kids, TENNIZ is probably the fave in the Sarver home. While we still spend a lot of time chasing after run away balls, you’ll find yourself spending hours hitting the ball back and forth. Set includes 2 (21-inch) rackets, 2 balls, 12-foot net, and carrying case.
SPINNERZ™
Get your disc on and knock off your opponent’s-good, friendly and fun competition for siblings or husband vs. wife. Set includes 6 SPINNERZ grip discs, target goal with ground stakes, and carrying case.
There are other games as well, be sure to check out their site for all they offer- www.zume-games.com. In addition to purchasing from website, games can be found at Dick’s Sporting Good.
