It’s peak time to enjoy the collection of more than 400 varieties of daylilies in the Perennial Garden. Don’t miss seeing the nation’s largest edible landscape at the Heartland Harvest Garden! Overland Park Rotary’s 4th of July Star Spangled Spectacular is a community celebration, fund raiser, and civic service event. As one of Corporate Woods’ and the City of Overland Park’s premier gatherings, the event draws an estimated one hundred thousand people in the immediate and surrounding areas to share camaraderie, music, family activities to celebrate our country’s birth and veterans. The event raises money for three local charities selected annually as well as the Overland Park Rotary Club Foundation. One sponsor hosts several hundred wounded and service disabled veterans, along with their families, in honor of their service to our country. The Star Spangled Spectacular helps Overland Park Rotary fulfill its mission of “SERVICE ABOVE SELF”. This year marks the 22nd annual event presented by Rotary Club Overland Park.
