The Barstow School

The Barstow School provides an independent school education that is innovative, inclusive and in demand. Our rigorous curriculum emphasizes hands-on, project-based learning. In our classrooms and at our state-of-the-art STEAM learning center, Barstow students apply science, technology, engineering, arts and math skills across subjects to develop lifelong skills: critical thinking, reativity, collaboration, communication, analysis and design thinking. Barstow students are writers, artists, makers and doers. Our athletic program offers a dozen competitive sports and updated facilities, with a new athletic building opening in 2024-2025. Signature programs include robotics, debate, digital broadcasting and global education.
