Campus Grounds serves a custom coffee blend from The Roasterie, along with tea, burritos, sandwiches and pastries—plus homemade ice cream crafted by the school’s culinary arts students. Between the cozy, lodge-style interior and inviting outdoor seating areas, it’s an easy place to settle in and linger a little longer than planned.
If you’d rather get to Lexington a little quicker, skip the Buckner stop and grab something at Bailey’s Coffee House in Lexington, where they serve coffee, tea, breakfast and lunch favorites and pastries.
Shop and Explore Downtown Lexington, Missouri
From Buckner, head about 23 miles east to Lexington’s charming Main Street for some shopping and exploring.

Afterward, walk around the grounds and consider touring the Oliver Anderson House. You’ll actually see bullet holes in the walls and cannon damage in the brick, which makes the history feel real. Tours are $6 per person and well worth it.
