I just noticed that my past several blog posts have all begun with the letter "T" so I'm going to challenge myself to see how long I can keep it going!
Hope that everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving day with family and friends and stuffed themselves full with lots of good food. Since it is the day after Thanksgiving, we can now officially listen to Christmas tunes, put up the tree, turn on the lights and enjoy all the good things that come with the season.
In the Sarver home, we have been listening to Christmas music since November 1st-my girls just can't get enough. We each have our favorite-Tori loves "Feliz Navidad", Ally rocks out to "Cherry, Cherry Christmas" (which is most appropriate for her-to me, that song makes no sense, I don't even know what a Cherry Christmas is, and often times, I have no idea what Ally is talking about and she makes no sense to me) and I love "Mary's Boy Child" (but don't hear it often on the radio-thank goodness for YouTube). Ty is the lone Grinch in the house. He's not really a fan of Christmas music, although the girls insist that Elvis' "Blue Christmas" is his favorite, because he loves Elvis.
Oh, and one more thing. You haven't had a chace to read my editor's letter for December yet, but in it, I say that we are going to try and attend more of the wonderful holiday events all over KC and I'm happy to announce that we've already accomplished one-we went to watch the fireworks at Longview Lake. So much fun and a great start to the season!
Last, but certainly not least, I can't wait for us to hit 5,000 FB fans-we have a FANTASTIC event planned for 440 of our loyal readers and FB followers-be sure to "like" us on FB and have your friends do the same-this is one holiday event in KC you won't want to miss!
