Children's Garden Day
The Atkins-Johnson Farm and Museum is proud to offer the 10th Annual Children's Garden Day program in partnership with the Master Gardeners of Greater Kansas City Saturday, July 15th. Come visit the farm's heirloom vegetable and herb garden where families will learn about gardening and the importance of growing your own food. Garden tours will be available for visitors led by experienced master gardeners. We will also be joined this year by the Mid-Continent Public Library and the University of Missouri Extension Programs. This free family event will run from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
