Join Kansas City PBS for a fun and educational day of activities! Plus, meet your favorite PBS KIDS characters!

Kansas City PBS Be My Neighbor Day event has hit capacity - no new reservations will be accepted.

Come to Kansas City PBS' Be My Neighbor Day, where kids can meet some of their favorite PBS KIDS characters, like Daniel Tiger and Katerina Kittycat from Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood and Donkey Hodie. Join us for lots of fun educational activities, and take home a free book and other goodies from Kansas City PBS and our community partners!

Families can enjoy educational activities designed to engage young children, as well as face painting, balloon art and other carnival activities. Plus, everyone can take home free books and other goodies from Kansas City PBS and our community partners while supplies last. We encourage attendees to bring donations of new deodorant, toothpaste and toothbrushes for Giving The Basics, a local non-profit organization dedicated to providing essential hygiene products to those in need. 

The celebration is free, but an RSVP is required at kansascitypbs.org/events. Registration will open on Thursday, May 9, at 9:00 a.m. Please register online at kansascitypbs.org/events. Walk-in registrations are welcome.  Parking garages are available near the event site.
