Altrusa International of Greater Kansas City, Inc will participate in the Excelsior Springs Community Health Fair to showcase their award winning children’s project Hear A Book; Take A Book at Excelsior Springs Community Center, 500 Tiger Drive, Excelsior Springs, MO on Saturday, April 30 from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm. This is a free outdoor event for families with children. Join us as we seek to share a love of reading by encouraging each child to select one brand new book to take home and add to his/her library. Our book distribution is geared toward pre-Kindergarten through 6th grade children. This FREE event is hosted by Altrusa along with 40 other vendors set up in the parking lot of the Excelsior Springs Community Center.
