Registration Open for “Beep” Kick Ball for Children with Visual Impairments; Deadline to Register Sept. 11
Who: Children ages 3-17 with vision impairments seeking recreational activity. Media are welcome to film/photograph children playing Beep Kick Ball.
What/Why: Children’s Center for the Visually Impaired and Alphapointe are teaming up for the Beep Kick Ball league to provide children with vision impairments an opportunity to build social skills, increase proprioception, strengthen muscle movement and have fun! Beep Kick Ball is played with a special ball and special bases that emit sound to allow for children with vision impairments to enjoy this national pastime. View video of kids playing Beep Kick Ball.
