The Weather is Frightful – Nature Presentation

Lakeside Nature Center 4701 E. Gregory Blvd., Kansas City, Missouri
Join us for a nature presentation on the different methods animals use to survive frightful weather. Some animals deal with extreme temperatures by using migration, others will use hibernation or brumation and some will simply endure the temperatures.
There will also be arts and crafts activities and display tables.
Presentations/Animal Encounters:

11:30 am – Presentation. Temperature Talk. Learn how animals deal with extreme temperatures from hot to cold – migration, hibernation/brumation, enduring, and sometimes having fun
