At The Culture House Conservatory of the Arts in Olathe, KS, we are grateful for our ever-growing community of students, performers, and families as together, we continue to discover the power of creativity, imagination, and beautiful stories. Through our doors, you too can experience the fun and enrichment of weekly classes in Dance, Theatre, Art, and Music…as well as our summer camps, various events, and spectacular full-stage dance and theatre productions. We are also the rehearsal home of a nationally known professional dance company--Störling Dance Theater. PLUS we now have a full degree college program, the Störling Conservatory of Dance. The Story of The Culture House:
The Culture House operates under the beliefs that artists shape our culture...and that every child is uniquely created by God with a treasure of untold, self-expressive potential. Therefore, artistic training provided to young people is an investment not only in the beauty of their individual lives, but in the future of our society.
Jeremiah and Mona Enna had these beliefs in mind after they moved from Sweden to Kansas City, so they founded The Culture House in 1996 as both an arts organization and a faith-based organization. Their grassroots efforts quickly formed an encouraging homebase where the local community could apply Christian thought and living into arts culture in an accessible, meaningful, and remarkable way.
Since then, the Ennas--and all involved with TCH over the years--have directly observed how the arts are proven, countless times, to have a tangible effect on a student's success in academics, personal confidence, and public demeanor. And they’ve seen the multitude of ways the arts have the power to shape, preserve and holistically guide our common culture.
